”JapGaf” is the debut album of pianist and composer, Morten Pedersen. It features duo recordings with bass player Thommy Andersson and drummer/percussionist Lisbeth Diers.
The musicians met in 2009 during a modern theatre performance in Copenhagen and instantly found a common understanding and energy in the music, wherefore the partnership therefore continued after the show.

The idea was that the music was to be as honest and raw as possible. Therefore, the music is played with an open approach and made out of small sketches and improvisations. The music is a journey through beautiful Nordic melodies, chaotic passages and dirty grooves. Everything can happen and there are no rules, only good music.

The result is 20 unique tracks on this exciting new double-duo album. Enjoy!
