A compilation reissue of Thomas Hellman's best early work. Quebec's Thomas Hellman musical history reaches back even further than his 2005 offering, L'Appartement, and Justin Time is proud to present that story here, with Departure Songs. Departure Songs features is 8 fully remixed and remastered songs taken from Hellman's first two self-released albums: Something Wrong (1998) and Stories from Oscar's Old Café (2001), both of which were recorded McGill University "Studio A", at "very odd hours". The original releases themselves are out of print and hard to find.
