This recording, originally released in 2005, features Josep Pons and the Orquesta Ciudad de Granad performing music from his films La Strada and Il Gattopardo. It also includes a fascinating bonus - a ''serious'' work by Rota, the Concerto Soirée, played here by pianist Benedetto Lupo.
