We marvel at the maturity of Bach's style that's apparent even in his early works. The young ensemble Musica Saeculorum under the direction of Philip von Steinaecker and the Welsh soprano Ruby Hughes, who already worked with René Jacobs and William Christie, recorded 'Mein Herz schwimmt im Blut' with the 1731 version of 'Ich habe genug.'
