Utwór powstały w rocznicę 1700 lat chrześcijaństwa w Armenii bazuje na rytmice i melodyce tamtejszej muzyki etnicznej, które wplata w motoryczny nerw minimalu nasycając go oryginalną kolorystyką. To silnie zrytmizowany, egzotyczny poemat dźwiękowy na 11-osobową orkiestrę z natchnionymi partiami wokalnymi. W latach 1978-1990 Melis był jednym z członków założycieli słynnej Group 180 - formacji węgierskich kompozytorów i instrumentalistów inspirowanych przez minimalistyczne zespoły Reicha i Glassa i wykonującej utrzymany w tym duchu repertuar.
