Henriette Groth and Lotte Anker has performed together since 2004. 'Du Fugl' is their first album together. It is recorded at a series of intimate studio sessions in Copenhagen 2006-2007. The music appears condensed, with the two instruments intervowen in an arabesque way. The interplay is spacious and intense, with feeling and spirit. The Danish title 'Du Fugl', a kind of invocation, approximately translates into 'Thou Bird'.
