Mamy tutaj wyraźne nawiązanie do formuły OREGONU.
Na płycie można usłyszeć zarówno długie partie pojedynczych instrumentów, zespołowe improwizacje, a zarazem - melodyjne tematy, pełnymi garściami czerpiące z tradycji żydowskiej, orientalnej i perskiej.

Editor's info:
'Desert Song' by Itamar Erez and The Adama Ensemble is taking the listener on an incredible journey of sound...
Influenced by such musicians as Egberto Gismonti, Anouar Brahem and others, 'Desert Song' is creating exciting and original material, rich with Middle-Eastern and Flamenco sounds, unusual melodies and complex rhythms. The ensemble is integrating 'classical' instruments such as the Oboe and English Horn, with 'world' instruments such as the flamenco guitar, tabla and frame drums, to create one of the most unique and original voices in the World Music/Jazz genres of today.
All tracks [except one which is a traditional Jewish song] are composed and arranged by Erez.

'...An original blend of classical music, jazz and various genres of world music, from flamenco to Indian music, with a particular focus on Middle Eastern traditions...' -
The Globe & Mail [Canada]

That proof comes in the form of a unique CD by Itamar Erez and the Adama Ensemble.'
