Do najnowszego projektu muzycznego Desfado portugalska wokalistka fado - Ana Moura zaprosiła światowej sławy pianistę, Herbiego Hancocka. Producentem płyty został Larry Klein a nagrania zrealizowano w the Henson Recording Studio w Los Angeles. To właśnie Klein zaprosił do projektu Herbiego Hancocka, artystę, który występował w latach 60. w kwintecie Milesa Daviesa. Słynny Fender Hancocka zabrzmiał w utworze Dream of Fire. Głównym założeniem artystki było nagranie utworów napisanych specjalnie dla niej przez artystów z jej pokolenia, ale spoza gatunku fado. Chodzi tu o takie nazwiska, jak: Virgem Suta, Miguel Araújo, Luisa Sobral, Pedro Abrunhosa i Manuel Cruz. Album opisywany jest jako punkt zwrotny w karierze tej artystki. Słychać na nim silne wpływy popu, wyprodukowany został dla międzynarodowego słuchacza, ale uwzględnia także nowych odbiorców portugalskich. Oprócz klasycznych pozycji muzyki fado, Ana Moura włączyła do repertuaru piosenkę Antónia Zambujo z tekstem autorstwa Aldiny Duarte, Manueli de Freitas i Mario Rainho. Na płycie zagrali: portugalski gitarzysta Angelo Freire i altowiolista Pedro Soares, a także basista David Pitch (Bob Dylan, k.d.lang), gitarzysta Dean Parks (Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder), perkusista Jay Bellerose (Aimee Man, Ani DiFranco), klawiszowiec Patrick Warren (Fiona Apple, Bruce Springsteen), skrzypek Freddy Koella (Lhasa, Carla Bruni) i saksofonista Tim Ries, człowiek, który zapoznał artystkę z The Rolling Stones i namówił ją do wykonania No Expectations i Brown Sugar. Ana zaprezentowała już część kompozycji podczas trasy koncertowej, która rozpoczęła się w Meksyku jeszcze w zeszłym roku. W Portugalii wystąpiła w listopadzie, w 2013 r. planuje koncerty w Szwajcarii, Holandii, Belgii, Stanach Zjednoczonych, Kanadzie, Hiszpanii i Wielkiej Brytanii.

For this work, the singer bet on unlikely songwriters, as Márcia, Manuel Cruz, Pedro da Silva Martins (Deolinda), Nuno Figueiredo and Jorge Benvinda (Virgem Suta), Miguel Araújo (Azeitonas), Luisa Sobral and Antonio Zambujo or established names in the portuguese music like Pedro Abrunhosa or Aldina Duarte and even some names from previous albums as Manuela de Freitas, Nuno Miguel Guedes, Mario Rainho and Tozé Brito.

One of the big surprises of this album is the participation of Herbie Hancock. Winner of 14 Grammy Awards, his tribute album to Joni Mitchell, "River: The Joni Letters', won the Grammy for Best Album of the Year in 2008, a feat that only a jazz record had won before ('Getz / Giberto' ).

On the new album, Ana Moura met in the studio the appearances of David Piltch (bass), with credits on albums by John Legend, Bob Dylan, India Arie or KD Lang, Dean Parks (guitar) - musician who has worked with Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Roy Orbison, Jay Bellerose (drums and percussion) - claims to work with Aimee Mann, Suzanne Vega, Ani DiFranco), Patrick Warren (keyboards and piano) - musician who has worked with names like Chris Isaak, Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple or Bruce Springsteen, Freddy Koella (violin) - with credits on albums by Bob Dylan, Lhasa de Sela, Carla Bruni and Tim Ries (sax) - who already worked with Ana Moura in 'The Rolling Stones Project'.
