The band had already been playing live together for five years and were so solidified that they could venture into the unknown. That's exactly what they did on a hot summer night in this small Californian town. Featuring improvisations and medleys of many of The Doors' favorite hits from all of their albums, Live in Bakersfield is a great shamanic adventure for all listeners. Recorded on August 21, 1970.
