The 2025 studio album by American singer/songwriter Curtis Stigers, whose single "I Have Everything" is at the top of the charts, contains eleven original songs in (and for) an intimate atmosphere.
Award-winning platinum artist Curtis Stigers began his weekly Wednesday livestream show "Songs From My Kitchen" while sitting home alone with his dogs during the pandemic. "I ended up doing more than fifty shows," says the Idaho-born artist, who rose to international fame with songs like "I Wonder Why" and "You're All That Matters To Me". "I've learned a lot about myself and taught myself some new tricks. My guitar playing has improved and I've learned how to edit videos. I've learned that dogs don't give a shit about a live show when the letter carrier shows up. I learned how to make a pretty good old fashioned (hint: use rye whiskey). This album is my first attempt to capture some of the unplugged homegrown magic of those shows. I don't know if there will be a Volume Two, but I figured I'd leave the door open."
It features brand new Stigers originals like "Good To Know You" and "I Have Everything," a gently rolling Americana tune and a sort of biographical thanksgiving to life, and it features some of Stiger's longtime all-star accompanists, including Larry Goldings (Elton John, James Taylor, Beck) on piano and "Shaky" Dave Manion on guitar.
