"Blowout", the new album by John Carroll Kirby - GRAMMY Award nominated producer, composer and keyboardist from Los Angeles - was inspired by the people, music and nature of Costa Rica.
"Blowout" contains all the hallmarks of the signature sound John Carroll Kirby has developed over the course of six solo albums and dozens of collaborations - playfulness, humor and exuberance.
Kirby has worked with superstars like Solange, Frank Ocean and Harry Styles, as well as indie artists like Yves Tumor, Liv.e, Remi Wolf, Eddie Chacon and YuSu.
He was nominated for a GRAMMY for his contribution to Steve Lacy's Gemini Rising and the lead single "Bad Habit".
