Zespół Al. Andaluz powstał dzięki spotkaniu zespołu Estampie z hiszpańskimi i marokańskimi muzykami Aman Aman i L'Ham de Foc, dzięki któremu formacja transgraniczna zaprezentowała współczesne, żywe interpretacje tradycyjnej muzyki żydowsko-sefardyjskiej, arabskiej i chrześcijańskiej w Landshut.
"Salam" to tytuł trzeciego studyjnego albumu Al. Andaluz Project, zaraz po "Deus Et Diabolus" (2008), "Al.-Maraya" (2010) i albumie koncertowym "Abuab Al. Andalus" (2012). Na "Salamie" można znaleźć trzy religie w ich pełnej okazałości, a także ich związki z innymi stylami.
