In May 2011 the three of them played in the film theater in Peitz,where the jazz workshop was launched in the early 1970s.After a break of almost three decades, free jazz was back here. With this trio, the jazzwerkstatt set an exclamation mark for a new beginning. It is fitting that this CD will be published to mark the 50th anniversary of the jazzwerkstatt in Peitz.And that it appears in the year of Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky's ninetieth birthday.We all – the jazz scene, the musicians, the audience – owe much more to him, who has not been able to play for many years due to health reasons, than can be expressed in this text.
