Tara Jane O'Neil's fourth self-produced album is an intimate, lush collage of acoustic strings and heart-piercingly sweet vocals. The direct if not quite lo-fi production foregrounds heavily strummed circular guitars, and allows O'Neil's vocals to emerge organically from the rich folds of sound. The mood is reflective, languorous, a little somber, and quietly rapturous.
