Colossus

Menfolk's long-awaited first full-length, with the substantial and quite expressive title 'Colossus', is jam packed with shrieking guitars, rhythms gone AWOL and a raw energy that seems simultaneously huddled up and ready to explode. An anarchic take on a rock sound freed of its restraints and confinements.
In April 2005 Menfolk took refuge in a remotely situated house to record "Colossus". With a gargantuan power plant on one side of the impromptu recording studio and scenic pastures to the other, the setting instantly caused the energy and inspiration to bloom.
With 'Colossus', Menfolk have succeeded in capturing all the noise, energy, anger and intensity on a record, which is now ready to take in its place as a fierce pig on the contemporary rock scene.
