Buckethead pozostaje niezmiennie jedną z najbardziej tajemniczych postaci w muzyce, nie tylko za sprawą maski w jakiej występował z Billem Laswellem w legendarnej grupie PRAXIS (Praxis to jeden z projektów Billa Laswella (jazzowego basisty i producenta muzyki funk) założony w Nowym Jorku w roku 1992. Praxis nagrywa dla wytwórni Laswella - Axiom Records. Grupa wydała kilka płyt w przeciągu swojej działalności w różnych składach. Najsławniejszymi członkami Praxis byli Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Buckethead, Brain, Mix Master Mike i sam Bill Laswell.). Gitarzysta ostatniego składu Guns'n'Roses, po rozstaniu z niegrzecznymi 'różyczkami' nagrał płytę, na której wszelkie podziały gatunkowe skutecznie zmiecione zostały przez charakterystyczne brzmienie gitary Bucketheada z czasów PRAXIS. Czy można kaleidoscalpować muzykę będącą mieszanką kosmicznego funku, speed metalu, hip hopu, transu, ambientu i jazzu?, sami odpowiedzcie na to pytanie.
