'...Kwartet powstał w 1997 roku, gdy połączyli swe siły jazzowa grupa Veselfrekk i jeden z najzdolniejszych skandynawskich elektronicznych producentów, Helge Sten. Sławę przyniosły im hałaśliwe improwizacje, ale muzyka Supersilent wciąż ewoluuje. Przekonuje o tym koncert Norwegów wydany na DVD '7". Statyczny obraz i kontrastowe czarno-białe zdjęcia dobrze pasują do atmosfery chmurnego, tajemniczego rytuału jaki zespół kreuje na scenie. Żywiołowe bębny i preparowana trąbka brzmią niczym echa pogańskich obrzędów, analogowe syntezatory przywołują hipnotyczną aurę kosmicznego rocka lat 70., sampler i elektroniczne generatory przydają futurystyczny szlif. Wyobraźcie sobie wspólny jam Dona Cherry, Tangerine Dream i Aphex Twina, a będziecie mieli przedsmak tego koncertu. W nowych utworach Supersilent pojawiło się sporo klisz i cytatów, ale równocześnie, wzbogacone o liryczne wątki muzyki etnicznej, zyskały one bardziej przejrzystą dramaturgię. Kiedyś podbili jazzowych radykałów, dziś okrzepła muzyka kwartetu ucieszy raczej amatorów klimatycznego nowego rocka Północy w duchu Sigur Ros czy Yagi...

'...The air was ripe with anticipation outside Parkteatret in Oslo on the sunny, warm and beautiful evening of August 16, 2004. Supersilent hadn't played the capital for quite some time and the queue went around the block. With film cameras occupying a certain amount of the audience space it was soon clear that not all who wanted to, could come inside...The black and white footage in this DVD is simply great and gives it a filmatic quality, very rarely seen in concert DVDs. Norwegian multi artist Kim Hiorthoy has been in charge of filiming and editing. Known mostly as sleeve designer for Rune Grammofon and Smalltown Supersound and an excellent musician in his own right, he has previously directed award winning videos for Motorpsycho. Lately he has also served as a camera man for the highly praised Norwegian film maker Margreth Olin...'
