Intryguje brzmieniem, niezłym wyczuciem klimatu tanga (liderzy formacji pochodzą z ojczyzny tanga Piazzolli) dość zgrabnie pożenionym z klubowym bitem i kapitalnymi jazzowymi solówkami saksofonisty Rodrigo Domingueza. Więc może jednak warto?...'

Tango Crash is a contagious mix of tango themes intertwined with live improvisation and electronica, as opposed to random electronic music with tango references. Welcome to the latest generation of tango madness!
Tango Crash, consisting of, at its core, Argentinean musicians Daniel Almada and Martin Iannaccone, started their collaboration in 1987, after working together in a previous group. Having enjoyed the electronic aspect of it, they continued exploring other music styles. Almada moved to Europe while Iannaccone stayed in Buenos Aires, but continued working together, online. Intrigued by the popularity of new electronic trends, Almada was inspired to unite Tango & electronica.
Encouraged by Joe Zawinul, their tango project took shape when Martin moved to Berlin in 2001. Reunited, they organized concert dates with Argentinean musicians Santiago Vazquez and Rodrigo Dominguez, then returned to Buenos Aires to record. Rodrigo Dominguez, Santiago Vazquez, bandoneon players Gabriel Rivano and Pomo Tapia and "Lopecito" (special guest) joined them. In Europe they recorded the percussion of Marcio Doctor, the cello of Iannaccone and the piano of Almada.
