and merged them into a journey
towards tomorrow, towards light

Musician, dramatist, director of innermost images, composer in the primary sense of the word, Manfred Eicher took into his hands a material, original pieces of mine composed and recorded for the film "Eternity and a Day", admired them, worked on them and created out of them a new work. Binding together one cmposition with another, blending the colours and the rhythms, he brought forth an album that belongs to him as well. I thank him for that.
