This release presents an outstanding studio session by the Cedar Walton Trio playing the compositions of Billy Strayhorn. As a bonus, we have added three more trio tracks recorded live in Baltimore, and two extra songs from the Plays Strayhorn session, on which Clifford Jordan joins the trio on soprano saxophone.
