This is a double CD of one extended solo performance by bassist/ violinist Henry Grimes. The two takes are unedited improvisations. In 2006 Danish drummer and composer Kresten Osgood performed a couple of trio concerts with Henry Grimes and saxophonist John Tchicai. A year later upon hearing Grimes perform a concert with Marc Ribot's Spiritual Unity group, Osgood decided to make a recording with Grimes improvising by himself without distractions or time limits or boundaries of any kind.
