This a second recording for Steve Dalachinsky who is the poet of the downtown music scene. Nobody can put this music into words as Dalachinky does, with the heart of a Brooklyn Jew... His work is profound, ruff and romantic at the same time like the spirit of the music. This time he is joined by the all around great pianist Matthew Shipp who makes use of some of his most thoughtful playing for a very beautiful and intimate session.
