Nagrania legendarnego quintetu Milesa Davisa, w oryginale wydane dla wytwórni Prestige i Columbia. 4CD box mieście sześć płyt: 'Workin' with...', Steamin' with...', 'Relaxin with...', Cookin' with....; 'The New Miles Davis Quintet' i 'Round About Midnight'.
Na płycie czwartej zamieszcono dwa bonusowe utwory pochodzące z unikalnej eksperymentalnej sesji, zorganizowanej przez Gunthera Schullera [The Brass Ensemble of the Jazz and Classical Music Society - New York, June 20, 1956 & October 23, 1956]. Miles wystepował oczywiście w roli solisty.
Całość została zremasterowana i opatrzona długim komentarzem Nata Hentoffa i Charlesa Boldta. Ponadto w 20-stronicowej wkładce znajduje się wywiad z Julianem Cannonbalem Adderleyem z 1972 roku.
