The vinyl and CD Live at KKI by Danish/Norwegian Angel captures the trio in excellent shape, performing at the artist house and gallery KKI Laboratorium in Flensburg, Germany. Live at KKI is one unedited improvisation recorded in late 2010 and shows the development of the trio since its self-titled debut album, released less than a year before on the Danish label ILK. Coming out of the vital Copenhagen improv scene, Angel consists of established improvisers and members of the renowned collectives ILK and Barefoot Records. In the fall of 2012, the trio will be touring Finland and Lithuania with Lithuanian reed player Liudas Mockunas. Bonus info: The pop at the beginning of the concert is the sound of a Flensburger Pilsner opening.
