Is this trios debut album. It consists of 10 beautiful pieces of lyrical jazz firmly rooted in the “nordic sound”. You might hear hints of inspiration from Edvard Grieg, Jan Johansen and more contemporary Scandinavian musicians, yet, at the same time, this trio has truly got a sound of its own. Pianist and composer, Gjermund Sivertsen, has written all the music, but, through improvisation, each member of the group equally contributes to make the music vital and exiting.
