This disc is the long-awaited follow-up to Irina’s debut album, released on the Classical Records label in 2003 when she was just 19.

Irina Bogdanova is of the most gifted of contemporary Russian pianists and a rising talent on the international stage. A child prodigy who began her studies at the age of four, Irina is a graduate of the Central Music School, the Moscow State Conservatory, the University of California and the Juilliard School. At the age of nine she received a scholarship from the International Charity Program New Names and aged 14 she won the Grand Prix and the First Prize at the International Alemdar Karamanov competition in Ukraine. Since then she has performed solo recitals in Russia and abroad to critical acclaim and has won prizes at international competitions in Italy, Spain and Ukraine. She has been a member of the Moscow State Philharmonic since 2008.

Chopin's Études require the highest level of mastery to perform and are some of the most evocative pieces of all the works in the piano repertoire. Very few pianists record the complete Chopin Études from Op10 to 25, especially women.
