Total Time: 71'06 When one of the best Baroque oboists gives birth to a Baroque orchestra, who wonders why it plays as one and one only man, with utmost natural ? Since 1989, Il Fondamento seduces the world of music lovers by his contagiously warm interpretations, not only of the great Baroque repertoire, but also of unknown works by Heinichen, Fasch, Telemann, Zelenka The three suites of Fasch gathered here - called by the composer ouvertures , in the manner of J.S. Bach - will help to rediscover this prestigious composer. Celebrated Prussian kapellmeister, in service of the sumptuous castle of Zerbst, he was a pupil of Telemann, founded the Collegium Musicum in Leipzig, and was once on service of the Count Morgin (who commissioned later Vivaldi's Four Seasons) in Prag. Like Telemann, he mixes the Italian tasto and the goût français with the German taste, which gives to his music a special charm.
