This quintessential collector's edition includes Cochran's most famous and essential albums for the Liberty label, consisting of his debut album 'Singin' to My Baby' (1957) and the posthumous 'Eddie Cochran - 12 of His Biggest Hits' (1960). These two masterpieces helped define the exact nature of rock & roll.

Hoodoo have also added 9 bonus tracks from the same period. Highlights include the original hit recordings "C'mon Everybody", "Summertime Blues", "Somethin' Else", "Sittin' in the Balcony", and the edgy "Boll Weevil Song", which walks a tightrope between rockabilly and country-pop without ever slipping off.

One of rock & roll's great stars, a fine songwriter and singer, whose brash, fat guitar sound helped lay the groundwork for the power chord. He was also an innovator in the studio, using overdubbing at a time when that practice was barely known on rock recordings. He tragically died in a car accident in Chippenham, England at the tender age of 21.
