Płyta "Decasia" to ścieżka dźwiękowa do filmu, które jeszcze nie powstał. Jest to soundtrack do filmu, który można zrobić samemu.
Zespół Metamorfozy to Rune Lindbæk i Øyvind Blikstad. Lindbaek jest jednym z pionierów norweskiej muzyki klubowej, jedną nogą zanurzony w scenie elektronicznej Tromsø, gdzie w latach 80. i 90. pojawiło się wielu wykonawców, którzy współtworzyli didżejską scenę w Wielkiej Brytani. Przez dwie dekady, Rune Lindbæk odegrał kluczową rolę w tworzeniu muzyki elektronicznej i międzynarodowej sławy norweskich nowych brzmień..
Współtworzył bądź współpracował z m.in. Those Norwegians, Drum Island, Alanïa, Moonflower, Flunk, Xploding Plastix i Frost.
Øyvind Blikstad to uznany w krajach skandynawskich producent i kompozytor. Tworzył muzykę do filmów i sztuk teatralnych. Blikstad słynie z tego, że nigdy nie opuszcza domu bez rejestratora dźwięku, ciągle szuka nowych inspiracji/doświadczeń dźwiękowych.
Projekt Metamorfózy jest wynikiem spotkania tych niesamowitych, zupełnie różnych osobowości w 2009 roku na Mungolian Jet Set's Christmas party w legendarnym Hotelu Bristol w Oslo.
Nawiązując do dokonań Briana Eno, Craiga Armstronga i Barry'ego Adamsona dwójka norweskich freaków stworzyła niesłychanie pojemną muzyczną formę od symfonicznych melancholii "Theme from metamórfozy" do poetyckiego avant popu "Towlines" oraz "Fata Morgana" by pogrążyć się w lodowatych wodach norweskich fjordów. Jeśli mielibyśmy odnieść ją do innych działających na rynku zespołów byłoby to połączenie nostalgii bristolskiego trip-hopu (gdzieś obok Massive Attack), lirycznych wokali Flunk i Lamb, przełamanych bardzo klimatycznymi i minimalistycznymi, choć pełnymi emocji fragmentami spod znaku duńskiego Bliss.
Prawdziwą ozdobą są wokale Lenny Kittilsen i Valkyrie Allstars' Tuva Syvertsen.

Metamorfózy's "Decasia" is the soundtrack to a film that has not yet been made. It's the soundtrack to the movie that you could make yourself.

Metamorfózy is Rune Lindbak and Oyvind Blikstad. Lindbak is one of Norwegian music's club pioneers, with one foot in the Tromso Electronic scene that emerged in the eighties and the other in British club culture. Through two decades; Rune has played a central role in defining electronic music and the internationally acclaimed Norwegian Disko sound. His other achievements include the UK top 40 hit "More to Love", recorded with Bjorn Torske as Volcano, a collaboration with Lindstrom, the Meanderthals project along with British Acid-Disco heroes Idjut Boys and celebrated Ambient as Pechenga (both released on Smalltown Supersound). He has remixed for many prominent labels with Kare Frisvold as 'Frisvold and Lindbak' and has released records on influental imprints like Noid and NYC's Modal.

With Blikstad and Metamorfózy Lindbak further explores soundtrack composition, as he has done on several short films and with the celluloid sound prominent on the three Alania and Drum Island albums recorded with Röyksopp.

Oyvind Blikstad has been trained in musicology and is working as a producer and composer. He has created sounds for art, film and theater. Blikstad never leaves the house without a sound recorder, as he constantly seeks out new sonic experiences for musical inspiration when walking around his native country as a "Norwegian Martin Hannet"!

The Metamorfózy metamorphosis happened when Lindbak and Blikstad met in 2009 at the Mungolian Jet Set's Christmas party in Oslo's legendary Hotell Bristol. They ended up being seated next to each other and before the pudding had arrived Blikstad stated simply; 'I think we have to work together'!

"Decasia" is the result of this meeting, people from different places that immediately hit a tone. With references to Brian Eno, Craig Armstrong and Barry Adamson, Metamorfózy daub on a broad musical canvas. From the symphonic melancholy of "Theme from Metamorfózy " to the poetic Pop and Dub sensibilities of "Towlines" and "Fata Morgana" and the slide into iced Nordic ambience.

Vocal contributions come from, among others, Lenny Kittilsen and Valkyrie Allstars' Tuva Syvertsen.

An album of haunting beauty from the North.
